Senate President Ahmad Lawan led the Principal Officers into the Chambers, took the official prayers and began the day’s proceedings at 10:52am.
VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS
Senator Degi-Eremiengo Biobarakuma moved for the adoption of Votes and Proceedings for Wednesday, 1st December, 2021.

PETITIONS
Senator Ayo Akinyelure submitted five petitions from the Office of the President of the Senate:
1. Petition from Akpo Solomon Nyoere and Adewale O. Iziogba on behalf of Nigerian National Shipping line Ltd (Pensioners Welfare Association) against Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) in respect of non- payment of ninety (90) Retirees of Nigerian National Shipping line (NNSL), 33 percent pension increase and consequential adjustment on pension arising from the implementation of the New National Minimum Wage, 2019 to retirees of the defunct NNSL and other pension related matters.
2. Petition from Apostle Izuchukwu Ani against the Nigeria Police Force in respect of Uniform/untreated kidnapping and drugs case in Oyigbo Police Station, Port Harcourt, River state.
3. Petition from Mercy Ekpo and Bright Ukong against Netco Jubob Pivot Consortium on behalf of oil and Gas Youth Development, Akwa Ibom State in respect of Marginalization of host Communities in their Area of Oil Operation.
4. Petition from Peter A. Adeosun on behalf of Tunde Akinade and Alh. Nurudeen Olalekan of Petroleum Tanker Drivers, Mobil Unit Apapa, Lagos against Alh. Saheed Adigun of Gastab Haulage Ltd the immediate past Chairman of Petroleum Tankers Drivers Branch of NUPENG, Mobil Unit, Apapa Lagos and his Unknown Gunmen for corrupt practices, Fraudulent conversion of Petroleum Tankers Drivers Funds from 2014 till date threat to life.
5. Petition from M. O Babalola on behalf of His Royal Majesty Oba Azeez Gbadabiu Isola Asiwaju, Onikotun of Ikotun Land against all the Security agencies in Ikotun & Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos state.
Petitions were laid and referred to Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions to report back within Four weeks.
